The dust problem faced by the No. 1 steelmaking plant of Nanjing Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. is that the scattered dust generated in the process of converter smelting (adding scrap, mixing molten iron, blowing, etc.) and material transportation settles on the multi-layer platform in the converter area. Due to the difficulty of cleaning, the manual cleaning cycle is long and accumulated over time, and thick dust is accumulated on the 3 ~ 7 floors, It will have an adverse impact on the production environment and equipment maintenance of the steelmaking workshop, and cause great harm to the personnel working in the working environment for a long time. It is not only time-consuming and laborious to arrange labor for ash cleaning in the steel plant every year, but also the traditional cleaning method and secondary dust generation increase the difficulty of personnel's work.
Our technical team designed, produced and implemented CVP series vacuum suction system for dust control in key floors from converter 3F to converter 7f5 in combination with the situation of the workshop of Nangang and the standards of relevant national policies. The use of vacuum centralized dust collection system can reduce the labor intensity of workers, facilitate the timely cleaning of dust on the 3 ~ 7 floors of converter workshop, and solve the problems of accumulation and dust.

6. Dust collection cart design: due to the wide dust dispersion area, in order to facilitate the operators to work with dust collection tools, the dust collection cart is designed to filter large particle dust and avoid blocking the dust collection port.
